Teach For America’s Community Speakers Series is a forum for the business, civic, and collegiate communities to discuss the educational challenges and opportunities impacting Latino Americans.  We invite you to participate in this conversation as we discuss the role each of us plays in helping our country reach its full potential and ensuring every child has access to an excellent education.

The Makuu Black Cultural Center is a nexus of academic, personal, and professional growth for University of Pennsylvania students interested in Black culture and the African Diaspora. Through advising, leadership development, social and cultural programming we expand student access to the University's resources. www.vpul.upenn.edu/makuu

Teach For America is the national teaching corps of outstanding recent college graduates who commit two years to teach in urban and rural public schools and become lifelong leaders in expanding educational opportunity. This year, more than 8,200 corps members are teaching in 39 regions across with country, and more than 20,000 alumni comprise a growing force of leaders working to expand educational opportunities from a variety of sectors.
